The use of drugs by children and adolescents is a growing concern, and social media has a significant impact on their choices. Although it offers benefits such as connection and access to information, it can also stimulate substance use. A study by Columbia University showed that teenagers who regularly use social media are more likely to consume drugs and alcohol. This research investigates the relationship between substance use and the influence of social media, analyzing how it affects young people's perceptions, availability, and behavior regarding drugs, using a literature review and the deductive method.
