Crime: limits of freedom of expression on the internet

Abstract

Freedom of expression, is a fundamental right that plays a crucial role in a democratic Society. However, nowadays, in the context of the internet, where connectivity between people has become commonplace. challenges and complex issues related to cybercrime have arisen, whuch can lead to restrictions or limitations on freedom of expression. In this sense, the present work aims to anable na analysis of cyber crimes, bringing through bibliographical researc, historical clippings referring to the evolution of the internet and the law, focusing on the abalysis of the necessary limits to freedom of expression. For this, na analysis will be made regarding the social interactions in this virtual environment, consequently the conflicts that have arisen and the law has been resolving such disputes.
